This night changed my life forever. No parent wants to get a call from a hospital at 3 am telling you they have your daughter there, or have police show up at your door. On the night of June 27, 2012, on my daughter's 21st birthday, her life was taken in matters of seconds because of an act of senselessness by a group of people, she thought were her friends. My daughter was then air lifted to Children's Hospital where she remains in ICU in critical condition with limited breathing. Not a day goes by that we don't pray and hope for her safe return.
